In 2020, we uprooted our lives and traveled throughout the United States with a simple vision:
To find a new home with at least an acre of land.
To learn how to live off of that land to the greatest extent possible.Â
So, with some due diligence, we purchased a few acres, settled into Northwest Ohio, and got to work…
Utilizing our resources
We began making improvements and rehabilitating our property. With that underway, we built a vertical farm and started growing microgreens.Â
We built some raised beds and began growing vegetables. We planted fruit trees and started an orchard. We had maple trees… so we tapped them for syrup. Â
Shortly after embarking on this crazy journey we dived head first into raising chickens and quickly learned about chicken math – and yes, it’s a real thing!
To become more self-sufficient, we began building grey-water systems for harvesting rainwater. We built our own batteries, bought some inverters and solar panels, and devised ways to bring electricity to the remotest corners of our property.
And we’ve realized something else…
How we can help other people
Through our journey of building our farm, we have come to realize the incredible potential it holds to help others. Our experiences have taught us valuable lessons in sustainable living, self-sufficiency, and resourcefulness, and we want to share this knowledge with our community.
If you’re interested in starting your own backyard garden, learning about renewable energy, or exploring the possibilities of small-scale farming, we are here to support you and would love to hear from you.

Our Farm
Evergreen Farm & Ranch was founded in 2021 and is located in Northwest Ohio.
We are committed to sustainable and responsible practices, and only offer foods of exceptional quality. When you buy from us, you’re not just getting wholesome delicious food, you’re also supporting local agriculture.
To us, food is more than just sustenance; it’s a connection to the land and the people who produce it. That’s why we are dedicated to building, preserving and protecting our small farm for future generations.
What began as a small vertical farm in our basement is now expanding outward. We are in the process of transforming our land into a regenerative farm. The farm will still be small, just… not as small.
Welcome and thank you for visiting.
